On March 7, 2026, the eve of International Women's Day, soprano Mar Morán from Badajoz returns to the Sala Trajano in Mérida alongside pianist Belén Castillo from Mérida to present the recital “Ecos de libertad” (Echoes of Freedom). An evening celebrating the power and beauty of the female voice in zarzuela and Spanish opera/song, at 8:30 p.m.

On March 11, 2026, Badajoz soprano Mar Morán will join the Badajoz Municipal Band for the first time as a guest soloist on stage at the Teatro López de Ayala , conducted by Vicente Soler Solano.
In this concert, Mar will perform a selection of some of the most famous arias from the operatic repertoire, such as the aria Les oiseaux dans la charmille from Olympia in Offenbach's Les contes d'Hoffmann and Sempre libera from Verdi's La traviata, in an evening that brings the brilliance and virtuosity of the soprano voice accompanied by a symphonic band to the audience.

Mar Morán will make her debut at the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires as Olympia in the principal cast of Jacques Offenbach’s Les contes d’Hoffmann. The renowned automaton doll comes to life in the iconic production conceived by Eugenio Zanetti, first presented at the theatre in 2019 and now revived as part of the 2026 season, under the musical direction of Carlo Montanaro. She will share the stage with artists such as Jean-François Borras, Jaquelina Livieri, Marina Costa-Jackson, Dmitri Ulianov and Annalisa Stroppa. Performances run from October 9 to 16, 2026.
